NOMADE's opening at Hold Up Art in the Lil' Tokyo district of Los Angeles. What a change of pace for this gallery after the LUSHER show. One of the most impressive pieces in the show were the statues constructed from bronze. The detail and craftsmanship is inspiring. I had to ask a buddy of mine how hard is it to make a statue of that size and lets just say that was a short thought.

Ella {Galeria Obscura}

New exhibit opening at Galeria Obscura two weeks ago is ELLA, art inspired by women. DVC's very own Leo Quijano II is showing some of his great black & white photography of women. Other mediums of choice are on hand for this group show.

Two Rabbits Studio held their 4th of July BBQ and Sale last weekend and Erwin Recinos was there to photograph the event. Lots of candy, prints and great people. Definitely keep an eye out for theses guys they are blowing up!
